The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup is played to decide the British Open Polo Championship and is the premier polo tournament in the world at 22 goal (High Goal) level. With all the international stars of the game in action in the incomparable setting of Cowdray Park’s famous ‘Lawns’, the event draws in polo aficionados from all over the globe. Newcomers to the sport could not have a more exciting introduction to polo and are encouraged to attend the 40 plus high octane matches opening on Tuesday 21st June and culminating in the Final on Sunday 17th July which decides the winners of the coveted British Open title.
The opening match on the Tuesday 21st June is played for the Carlos Gracida Memorial trophy in honour of one of the sport’s most iconic former players and celebrating his outstanding talent and record-breaking 10 Gold Cup wins.
Other notable trophies that are played for during the course of the tournament include the Midhurst Town Cup on Sunday 26th June and the Argentine Ambassador’s Cup on Sunday 3rd July. The Midhurst Town Cup has a special significance as it was presented to the club by the local business community in 1953 to recognise the prominence brought to the town by polo, while the Argentine Ambassador’s Cup, attended by the Argentine Ambassador, emphasises the strong relationship the polo community has with South America and their passion for the sport of polo. Local residents and newcomers are especially welcome to enjoy all these highlights.
The Semi-Finals of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup held on Wednesday 13th July showcase 2 thrilling matches which lead onto the much anticipated Final on Sunday 17th July. With over 70 quality trade stands offering superb food and shopping in the retail village at the Final, it is an occasion not to be missed. We hope you can come along and enjoy this fabulous day.
Admission tickets are sold at the gate of the grounds in play throughout the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup tournament. On a normal day (excluding the Semi-Finals and Final) the standard admission charges are:-
£5 per adult. Children under 12 and Cars enter for free. If you wish to go into our Members' Enclosure there is an additional £5 charge.

Semi-Finals - 13th July - 12.00pm & 4.00pm
Entry Tickets: All spectators over the age of 12 must have an Entry Ticket charged at £17.50 if purchased before the 1st July and £20 after this date and on the day. Entrance to the Members' Enclosure is charged at an additional £10 but guests must be accompanied by a current Cowdray Member to be granted entrance. Members can take a maximum of 4 guests into the Enclosure on this day.
Cars: Cars enter for free
Front Row Reserved Parking: Situated on the North Side, plots are available at £325 per plot for Non-Members and £200 for Members. This package includes a 9 metre x 3 metre space for a picnic area, an allocated space for a car and entry for 10 people.

Entry Tickets: All spectators over the age of 12 must have an Entry Ticket charged at £17.50 if purchased before the 1st of July and £20 after this date and on the day.
Lawns Ringside Enclosure: Open to both Members and Non Members. Annual Cowdray Park Polo Club Members Badges are valid for entry to the Lawns Enclosure. Non Members can buy badges for entry at £15 in advance or at the entrance of the Enclosure on the day.
Grandstand Seats: Grandstand Seats are available in the South Grandstand. South Side Grandstand Seating in the Upper section is charged at £36 and £26 in the Middle and Lower Section of this stand. Please note that a Grandstand Ticket is not valid for entry to the grounds and must be accompanied by an Entry Ticket. Children under 12 do not need an entry ticket to the grounds but do have to pay for Grandstand seating if required.
Public Reserved Picnic Parking: Reserved Non Viewing Picnic Parking spaces can be purchased in advance online at £80 per plot for Non-Members and £50 per plot for Members. Please note that this does not include entry to the grounds and all spectators must have an Entry Ticket. This plot measures 9 meters x 3 meters and includes a space for one car, a domestic gazebo and a picnic area. It must be noted that there is no direct view of the pitch from these plots.
John Cowdray Enclosure Front Row Parking: These plots cost £275 and are exclusive to 2016 Cowdray Park Polo Club Members. Members should contact the Cowdray Polo Office by 3rd May 2016 on 01730 813257 to apply. Please note that availability is very limited and a ballot will be held on 3rd May 2016 if oversubscribed and plots will be allocated accordingly. Members are limited to applying for one plot per Member.
Players Front Row Parking: These plots cost £300 and are available exclusively to 2016 Cowdray Park Polo Club Players. Players should contact the Cowdray Polo Office on 01730 813257 to apply. Please note that only one plot can be purchased per player.
Programmes: Programmes can be purchased in advance for £3 before the 1st July and £5 thereafter and on the day. You will be sent a Voucher which can be exchanged at the event for your programme.
