With a long and illustrious history, Cowdray Park is recognised as the Home of British Polo. Viscount Cowdray's 16,000 acre estate is situated in the South Downs National Park of West Sussex and the game of polo has been played on the estate for 100 years, with the first competitive tournaments being recorded in 1910. Today approximately 450 matches are played each season, with the highlight being the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup for the British Open Championships and we welcome spectators throughout the season.
The club’s official photographer is present at all Finals and all club events. If you would like to purchase photographs please contact Clive at clive@fulerton.freeserve.co.uk.
